Vintage knitting supplies are getting rarer. How do I keep finding them?!<\/span><\/p>\n

I mean before someone throws it away. You know – people do that!!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have decided\u00a0to say yes in life, so this time\u00a0I did something I have never done before!<\/span><\/p>\n

Drive 40 minutes to visit a man I meet at a flea market. Why?<\/span><\/p>\n

Because we had a nice talk.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was selling – well, a only few things, but I got a book about crochet and a cookbook from 1927.<\/span><\/p>\n

And honey.<\/span><\/p>\n

So I asked about his honey – just like me, a friend of his has bees in his garden.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I asked if he had any textile.<\/span><\/p>\n

No, but he had some at home. His mothers old weaving and knitting supplies.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing let to another – actually I drove, unannounced. He wasn’t home,\u00a0so I went back another day!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What do you think? Did\u00a0I find a treasure? Or did\u00a0I drive home laughing of my silliness, for driving so far without any clue on what to find?!<\/span><\/p>\n
